This guy is lacking in self-confidence but tries to make friends by being extremely nice. I think he's unmarried (but maybe he has a kid from a short relationship) and lives alone. He doesn't make much money but he's reasonably happy with the things he has. I don't think I'd have a lot in common with this man, but I think conversation (once it got started, perhaps awkwardly) would be very interesting. There are some good stories in there, I think.
I think he's a friendly enough fellow who most likely eats too many burgers and fries. He's down on his luck but would be happy to change things in his life if provided the direction
I think he is an ex LTV Steel worker. He made a decent life for himself and his family but was also a working alchoholic. He is a very nice guy and his 3 children and ex-wife love him very much. His pride and joy is that all of his children have a college education. I would speak to him everyday as I pass by him on my way to work. He has an early shift at a parking lot on East 14th and Prospect.
retired, some health problems, but overall satisfied with life. His family doesnt visit him enough. wishes kids would dress better and people would take care of their yards like they used to.
In September 2008, Cleveland Magazine published a story looking at how Clevelanders view each other just based on a quick glance at a photograph.
The response was overwhelming. We were initially worried we wouldn't be able to find people willing to participate. Instead, people were begging to be photographed.
So we've opened the project up further on the Internet.
Take a look at the photos we've posted, and in the comments section let us know what your first impression of that person is. Be honest, but please refrain from racial epithets and cussing.
If you'd like to participate, click here to upload your own photo to be scrutinized by the Internet. We'll post your photo in this blog. Later, after people have an opportunity to give their first impressions of you, we'll reveal here what information you were willing to share about yourself -- setting people straight or proving them right.
Cleveland Magazine is a monthly city magazine focusing on Northeast Ohio. Our audience is educated, engaged readers who want the stories behind the headlines. We delve into the people who shape the region, past, present and future. Check us out at clevelandmagazine.com

sad, shy, good at heart. blue-collar worker. hard worker. Was once married, but now isn't. Has a kid.
Kind of a slow guy, but he's a favorite uncle. He makes really good salsa. He can feel lonely when he's not around family.

His posture reminds me of the hardships of Cleveland. I bet he's great with his grandkids, either that or he was a horrible husband,
